AST - Wiegand to RS-232 converter is used to enabling direct connect for access control card reader to PC. It supports multi-length wiegand protocol from 24bits to 66bits. The converter builds in 2 inputs and 2 outputs control port for external devices monitoring and control. On the other hand, this device provides an additional wiegand output port for RS232 to wiegand functions, it allow user to send a wiegand output signal for external devices. This control board allow user to develop their own application to linkup existing access control devices.
